If you are looking for a muzzleloading hunt for Colorado elk or Colorado mule deer then Peak to Creek Outfitters is your Colorado BIG GAME Outfitter! We operate in the San Juan National Forest near Durango, Colorado in game units 75 and 751. Both elk and mule deer muzzleloading tags are limited and available only by drawing. Apply Early.
Muzzleloading is an effective way to take BIG GAME, and the season is at the most beautiful time in the Colorado High Country. The elk go into full rut at this time and their bugling can be heard day and night.
Muzzleloading is a nine day season, plenty of time to find
the elk or mule deer you’ve dreamed of.

2023 & 24 Hunting season news
2023 was another successful year for Peak to Creek Outfitters. Former business owner, Preston, retired and sold the business to Keith and Amanda Johnston. Keith has been in the hunting business for over 20 years and is looking forward to getting to know current clients and expanding to others. He is the field guy and leaves the computer work to his wife, Amanda. They are thankful to have the opportunity to maintain and grow this established business while providing an outstanding hunting experience for each and every person who chooses Peak to Creek Outfitters.
